With ever increasing fuel prices, owning and driving a car is a challenge for the most of us. Insurance premiums have also been increasing due to the number of claims being made; motoring for new and young drivers is even harder. Young driver insurance premiums have always been high; premiums have been known to be four times more than the value of the car!
Over the years some car manufacturers have provided free insurance with some of their small cars to entice new and young drivers to buy into the brand. I remember when I passed my driving test the Citroen Saxo was being offered on one of these free insurance deals, it quickly became a very popular hatchback.
It has recently been announced that Vauxhall is offering a year's insurance-free motoring to all new pre-facelift Vauxhall Corsa customers. The free insurance deal is in addition to Vauxhall’s range of attractive finance deals that include 0% Finance options.
If you are looking to buy new Vauxhall in Maidstone then this deal is definitely worth a look, with the 0% APR option you can pick up a Corsa SXI for £195 a month. Vauxhall predict that young drivers will benefit the most from their free insurance deal, savings of up to £2,300 can be saved on insurance by young drivers.
Peter Hope, Vauxhall's Marketing Director said, "Insurance continues to rise, so for young drivers it's an especially tough climate in which to run a car. This new offer makes the Corsa, which is already price-competitive in its class, even more affordable to own."
